4551A Purge and Trap Autosampler

The 4551A Water Autosampler is designed for high-efficiency laboratory environments. It operates seamlessly with the Eclipse 4760 Purge and Trap Sample Concentrator. Furthermore, its compact design saves critical bench space by fitting directly under the concentrator.

Reliable Performance and Innovation

This instrument precisely transfers water samples to the sparge vessel for purging. However, unlike traditional systems, it does not use a slow syringe drive. Instead, it utilizes a peristaltic pump and a sample loop. Consequently, you can decrease maintenance downtime and reduce long-term costs. Additionally, the system handles water with light particulates (<100 µm) without clogging.

Automated Workflow for Higher Throughput

The 4551A Water Autosampler features a removable spiral tray. This tray holds up to 51 sample vials for fully-automated operation. Moreover, you can program multiple rinses and blanks. This provides maximum sequence flexibility for your lab. Therefore, you can achieve consistent results with minimal manual intervention.

Optional Standards Addition

For even greater precision, you can add the LV-20 Standards Addition Module. This optional module automates the addition of internal, surrogate, or matrix spike standards. As a result, you can reduce the volume of standards used and lower your laboratory expenses.
